Privacy policy

Roundmark (“we”, “us”) is a design-feedback tool. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

• Account data - your name, email address and a hashed password when you create an account.
• Reviewer data - the email address of people invited to review a project, so we can send them a sign-in link.
• Content - projects, comments, replies, drawings, text suggestions, and files or images you upload for review.
• Billing data - handled entirely by Stripe; we store only your Stripe customer reference and plan. We never see or store card numbers.
• Technical data - standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and debugging.

How we use it

• To provide the service: showing projects, delivering comments, sending invite and notification emails.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions (via Stripe).
• To power optional AI features (feedback summaries, reply drafts): comment text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for processing and is not used to train their models.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Hetzner Online GmbH (EU) - application hosting and file storage.
• Cloudflare - content delivery and security in front of the application.
• Stripe - payment processing.
• Anthropic - AI processing of comment text when you use the AI assistant.
• Email delivery provider - to send invitations and notifications.

Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function, under their own data-processing agreements.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt). Reviewer links use single-use, expiring tokens stored hashed. Access to production systems is limited to the operator. Uploaded images are stored on EU-based object storage.

Retention & your rights

Your content stays as long as your account exists. Deleting a project deletes its screens, comments and files. You can request full account deletion, a copy of your data, or corrections at any time by writing to support@roundmark.it. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Cookies

We use only functional cookies: a session cookie for signed-in users and reviewers. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
